Is Derv healing still a possibility?
Recently, after finally attain Vabbian armor (Yes...for my Derv. I've shown him the least amount of love in the armor department), I started picking my Derv up again. Someone told me that Dervs can make excellent healers, but I have never seen it. I did look it up on google, and got links to year old youtube videos and threads.
So is it still possible? From what I've gathered, a lot of relies on Mysticism, Earth Prayers, and then the rest is dumped into whatever Monk attribute you personally like best. A lot of people seem to say protection.
I'm all for theory crafting, and am willing to create a build of my own. I just kind of need to know the basics before I push off and go for it. Any suggestions or comments?

not since the big dervish update they haven't been viable. mysticism only affects dervish enchantments now, and the key skills have been changed.

Ah, yes. I read a bit on AoD healing last night and figured I'd give a whirl. Everyone seems to believe that it wouldn't be worth it in PvP though, for the reasons you listed above.
Is PvP healing still viable as a Derv? Every post or video I can find related to RA healing have dates ranging from '06-'08.

I imagine if you're healing RA or anything as a Derv, you wouldn't be doing AoD anyway. I imagine you'd want to spike heal, not do mediocre damage while constantly tearing enchantments. Also, Derv healing skills don't have the ability to remove hexes or conditions from other players, to my knowledge.
